My chickens finally decided to lay some eggs! it was so exciting to find our 1st one!

My little guy now has to wear a patch on his good eye to make the cancer eye get stronger. He's our little pirate! it's so sad, and he hates it. He just has to wear it for 2 hours at a time, but that whole 2 hours you have to keep him totally occupied so he doesn't rip it off. which is not the easiest thing in the world
He is the cutest little pirate I've ever seen! Also, we missed you on our run! We've decided that we need to find a half that we can all do together each year as a fun tradition.

Oh and Bren's jealous of your chickens and eggs (that's kind of his dream to have chickens and a real garden and a yard that he can take care of.)
