Happy 2014

We celebrated the new year with a little bon fire. This is how they do it in these parts. 

 We've started basketball and Cory has become quite the little player. One game he scored about 80% of the points for the team! He loves it and I love that he's found something that he's so good at and loves.

 Drought. They should be under like 20 feet of water, but instead we found remains of an old town.

 Happy birthday to my favorite person, we invited some neighbor friends to celebrate. They mostly came because they know I make the best baked goods around. (they think it's because I'm a Mormon)

 I've just about had it with our house being under construction. Noisy and inconsiderate non-english speaking people, blocking me out of my driveway. You want to block me out? come find me when you'd like to leave. (our court is like a parking lot, there was another car they were tightly up against)

Cement slides, don't forget your cardboard! and Shorts! it's been so warm here, we desperately need rain but I'm totally OK with this 60 and sunny weather everyday.
