It was the kids spring break last week, so we hung out in the rain for the first half of the week, then Jeff was able to take a few days off so we drove to Santa Cruz and Monterey. We loved Santa Cruz.

we visited the surfing museum in Santa Cruz, the little lighthouse was so cute!
We heard you can't go to Monterey without visiting the Aquarium. It was a once in a lifetime thing for us. It was neat but we saw it and would rather hang on the beaches at Santa Cruz.
We stayed at a hotel in the middle of the bay and were next to these sand dunes. It was so pretty, it was so freezing too! We found lots of jelly fish and slid down the dunes.
she loved that we saw a rainbow at the end of the day.
I just love Monterey! And I still must be a kid at heart- because I love the aquarium. Cute pictures. Hope you had a fun Sprig Break! xo
