TREEEES!

We took a trip to the Northern Cal to see the beautiful Redwoods and the Nor Cal coast.
We saw some pretty amazing things! We started at Fort Bragg, the coast was beautiful, cliffs along the ocean, coves and lot of sea glass.
we started off with this amazing spaghetti dinner!haha there was some huge seaweed!
It was totally freezing the whole time, but we couldn't resist running around at the beach!
me and my honey bunny!
Pete was the best traveler ever, I think he didn't mind all the driving because we let him snuggle with his nanny bug blank (blanket) and have his binky ALL weekend
Sand dunes! I wish I had gotten the picture of Jeff hanging Cory upside down to get all the sand out of his clothes, he was covered! he left a small dune next to our car where he shook off!

what a beauty, her hair went so curly in the humidity, love it!
this is the biggest redwood tree to be cut down, it took 60 man hours to cut this thing!
visiting the drive thru tree, aka chandelier tree. Our car wouldn't fit through so we had to walk through a bunch of times!
These trees are amazing, so big we couldn't even see the top or reach our arms around them.

We took a fun little hike, Boy Scout tree trial. We didn't make it to the end but we saw some HUGE trees and froze a little. The kids complained the whole way in because they didn't want to hike, then my feet were so frozen and I was tired of holding Alta so I made us turn around and then the kids had the funnest time running down the trail.
Our STRONG MAN! clearing the trail for us, with baby in tow (Pete's on his back)
to put things in perspective, the boys are in there. You can see Cory's red coat.
Pete wasn't so sure of these trees, but I had to get a picture of him next to the big trees.
It was so beautiful! totally recommend taking a trip to the redwoods.
